Turkey Hunting
When spring comes around and there is nothing else to hunt, this is the time to get your turkey game face on. In Eastern Colorado we have Rio and Merriam turkeys, with some hybrids to hunt. If you can draw a tag in Northeastern,CO on the South Platte River, the chances are high for success when hunting with Beaus Outdoors. In Western Nebraska, the Merriam turkey population is skyrocketing. We have some phenomenal ground in the Republican River Zone and the North Platte River bottom, which is home to thousands of birds. There is nothing like hearing a Boss Gobbler roosting in a tree, gobbling his head off while you’re sitting on the ground waiting for him to pitch down. We hunt mainly in creek bottoms and on the edges of crop fields. We have a 95% success rate on killing turkeys. This hunt is fully guided 1 on 1 but lodging and licenses are not included unless specified.
