Deer Hunting

beau-deer

The Sandhills of Northeastern Colorado are home to some giant mule deer. In this region there are good numbers of mule that feed on the irrigated corn with little pressure – making good conditions to grow big! These corn fed deer can grow up to 200” no problem. In 2012’s Muzzle loader season I personally killed a Mule Deer scoring 201″. All deer hunting is by draw only in Unit (93,97,98,100,102). This is where the deer hunting takes place and all on private land.
